Welcome to Carmen Ministry
My name is Carmen van Helden-John. As an author, speaker, and Life & Ministry Coach, I encourage and inspire people to overcome challenges, grow in faith, and confidently embrace their God-given purpose.
Drawing from my personal life experiences and faith, I share honest, practical, and powerful messages about restoration, identity, personal growth, and new beginnings.
I speak at churches, organizations, groups, conferences, workshops, and special events. Together, we create meaningful moments that touch hearts, strengthen people, and inspire them to move forward.
Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be transformed.

Encouragement That Goes Beyond Words
Encouragement at Carmen Ministry is more than offering a hopeful word for the moment. The desire is to inspire people to grow, discover practical tools, and take steps that make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives.
Everyone is welcome. You do not have to share the same faith or beliefs to be heard, encouraged, or supported. Carmen works from a Christian understanding of the person and of life. This forms the foundation of her approach and guides the way she listens, encourages, and supports others, as well as the insights and practical guidance she offers — both in one-to-one conversations and in group settings. At the same time, each person’s individual story, background, and beliefs are treated with respect.
For Carmen, God is at the centre. She believes that she can listen, encourage, support, and pray, but that God is the One who can do the deepest work in a person’s life.
